Yoga

Yoga is an ancient practice that originated from India. It helps develop core strength, flexibility, and overall great body tone.

The word “yoga” means to yoke or to bind together, and refers to the bringing together or balancing of two opposing forces.

Yoga helps you stretch. Correct stretching changes how your whole body looks, as well as providing pain relief and reducing stress. The movements and stretches help the body detoxify and heal physically and emotionally.

The flow through various poses enhances vascular circulation and encourages healthy deep breathing. Through heightened awareness of the breath, your body is able to better relax and promote better general well-being. The practice of yoga reminds us of moment-by-moment awareness that enables you to remain grounded in the here and now.

Yoga is a system of physical, mental, and spiritual awakening that integrates the whole person, on every level. The positive energy and calm mind you realize in your yoga classes will most likely extend into other areas of your life.
